We invite you to stay at this charming dog friendly cottage rental in Eastern Kings, Prince Edward Island. Bothwell Haven Cottage is located 10 minutes east of the seaside town of Souris. This cottage has an incredible ocean view, with easy beach access and 1.4 acres of land.
This beautiful open concept cottage is a two story, 3 bedroom home that overlooks the breathtaking landscape of Prince Edward Island. With a lower deck, screened in porch, and large upper deck, you will be able to take in the beautiful views overseeing the ocean.
This summer rental offers 2 bathrooms, a combined living-dining area with a fireplace, and impressive ocean view. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances, cookware, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker & grinder, popcorn maker etc. In addition, there is a washer and dryer on site. The 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom rental property can sleep nine comfortably. Upstairs the master bedroom offers a king bed and patio doors out to the large deck overlooking the ocean. The upper deck can also be accessed by the exterior staircase. The second bedroom upstairs offers a queen and roll away bed. Downstairs, the main floor bedroom offers a queen bed and has patio doors leading in to the screened in porch. The sofa in the living room pulls out into a queen sized bed.
Elliot's Grocery & Pro Hardware and Wilson's Gas are less than a minute drive away, conveniently located for any items you may need. There is also a liquor outlet at the store.
A short 2 minutes walk will take you to dock access to the Basin Head Lagoon inlet, a Federal Marine Protected Area. Kayak through 3 miles of environmentally preserved sanctuary to arrive at Basin Head Provincial Park.
Bothwell Haven cottage is a short 10 minute walk to miles of beautiful white sandy beach and dunes, just follow along the marked pathway! This beach can also be accessed by car, just a quick 1 minute drive to the parking area. Bothwell Beach is a continuation of Basin Head Beach, known for it's "Singing Sands". This secluded breathtaking beach allows you to experience the ultimate peace and relaxation of the island with visitors few and far between.

Bothwell Haven Cottage is only 10 minutes from the seaside town of Souris on the Points East Coastal Drive, PEI. All your amenities can be found in town; restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, liquor stores, fresh seafood shacks, craft shops, bike and paddle board rentals, churches, lighthouse, tourist information and medical clinics.
As you head to the cottage or from you will never get tired of the views they are some of the best in Prince Edward Island. Going past the cottage heading to East Point Lighthouse the ocean is never too far. The lighthouse is at the eastern tip of the island and should you walk to the top the 360 degree view will be worth every step. Also, in the area is the North Lake Harbour called the “Tuna Capital of the World” and the Elmira Train Station Museum.
As you continue site seeing along the eastern region the vistas are spectacular around every corner and it will bring you an appreciation of why islanders are so lucky to call Prince Edward Island home.
