Sand Spit Beach House is a Vacation Rental located in the eastern region of Prince Edward Island. Located at water’s edge, this large contemporary 2300 sq. ft. beach house is designed to accommodate two families in executive-quality and offers water views from almost every window.

This open concept waterfront summer rental sleeps 8-10.  There are two king bedrooms with ensuites, third bedroom has four extra-long bunk beds; the two sofas are pullouts with queen beds; third bathroom is shower, tub combined. Most of the amenities for the beach house are on the one level with the exception of the TV room, which is located in the loft.  The kitchen offers a mesmerizing water view as does the living and dining area of the beach house.

Steps from your beach house you’ll find a sand beach, including the unique promontory sand spit that juts out seperating Boughton Bay and the open water of the Northumberland Strait. After a day taking in all that the island has to offer, relax, unwind and watch the sunset over the glistening waters from your “Sand Spit Beach House”. Spectacular! Witness the majesty of great blue herons from your deck, wander the adjacent sand spit, kayak along the quiet shore… you will be captivated by the arresting beauty that is Prince Edward Island.

Area Information

Prince Edward Island is a magical place: east-coast culture, ocean beaches, fresh seafood, fantastic golf courses, and the peace and tranquility of the island’s natural setting. Settle for nothing less than the luxurious accommodation and vistas of the sensational “Sand Spit Beach House”.

Across the water in the distance you can see Annandale fishing village, one of many working harbours that are scattered throughout PEI. Should you be visiting in May or June the Launching wharf is 5 minutes away for fresh lobster. Other fresh seafood can be found in Montague and Souris during the summer season.

Prince Edward Island hosts some of the best beaches in the world and you are at the water’s edge of a long white sand spit. 50 others beaches are along the eastern region coast Basin Head “Singing Sands” being the number one. Golfing at its finest is all over the island but the Sand Spit Beach House is only 20-30 minutes from three of the best; Crowbush, Brudenell and Dundarave. Excellent island beef, vegetables, fresh fish can be found throughout eastern PEI along the roadway or farmers markets. Canoe or Kayaking is great in the area due to the shelter; take a seal tour only 20 minutes away. There are lots of things to do and see on Prince Edward Island especially in the eastern region. Montague is the largest town in eastern Prince Edward Island it is 20 minutes from the house. Cardigan and Georgetown are also two other communities 15 to 20 minutes away.
